Every one of our European fulfillment centers is purpose-built for e-commerce: separated pallet zones, dedicated picking stations, independent packing lines, temperature-controlled rooms, an inbound receiving zone, a returns lane and everything managed inside the BigArena platform. You get real-time visibility, barcode scanning on every item and a video recording of every parcel that leaves the building. Our warehouse network is the backbone of our fulfillment service.

🇧🇬 Bulgaria - Sofia and Plovdiv

Central hub in Plovdiv (4,200 sqm, with a 10°C temperature-controlled room and POD stations that label supplements at the moment of order) plus a regional warehouse in Sofia (2,300 sqm). A brand-new Plovdiv fulfilment warehouse is under construction: 9,000+ sqm with 12m clear height, delivered in two phases. We work with every Bulgarian courier (Speedy, Econt, BoxNow, Pigeon) and every major e-commerce platform.

🇸🇰 Slovakia - the gateway to Central and Western Europe

The Slovakia warehouse ships express to Czechia, Poland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Italy, and covers every other European country including Switzerland and the UK. We work with more than 30 local courier companies. Our own linehaul lines run to Germany, the Netherlands, Czechia, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy - they keep transit times both fast and cost-effective, which is why Central and Western European brands use this warehouse to serve their home markets.

🇷🇴 Romania - the largest market in the Balkans

The Romania warehouse is a strategic point for brands selling into a country of almost 20M people. 2,000+ sqm, with a direct line to our Sofia and Slovakia warehouses for fast stock transfers between hubs. We work with Fan Courier, Cargus, Sameday, GLS and the pickup-point couriers. Returns are processed locally.

🇬🇷 Greece - our newest expansion

We opened a warehouse in Greece in 2026 for brands that want fast local dispatch to 10M Greek customers. We work with ELTA, Geniki, BoxNow and ACS. Shorter transit times to Cyprus, too.

Why a network, not a single warehouse?

A single warehouse caps the markets you can serve. A network of warehouses gives your customers local delivery, local couriers and local returns. Here is what you gain.

Shorter delivery times

Stock sits 100-500 km from the customer instead of 2,000 km. Parcels arrive in 1-2 days instead of 5-7. Conversion goes up and refused parcels go down.

Lower courier costs

Local shipments are cheaper than cross-border ones because the distance to the end customer is shorter.

Local returns

Customers return parcels inside their own country using a local courier. You get the stock back into a warehouse without paying for international reverse logistics.

Frequently asked questions about our warehouses

The questions new clients bring up most often in a consultation.

Which country should I store my stock in?

It depends on where your customers are. If 80% are in Bulgaria, Plovdiv and Sofia are enough. If you run an active Bulgarian and Romanian shop, you can either serve Romania from Bulgaria alone, or split stock across both warehouses. For CEE and the Balkans we usually recommend more than one warehouse - typically BG+SK+RO. We analyse your current markets and propose the optimal setup.

Can I move stock between warehouses?

Yes. We run regular transfers between warehouses on our own linehaul lines. Request it in BigArena or through your account manager with 1-2 days of notice and we arrange the transport.

How quickly can I go live in a new warehouse?

Usually around 10 days from contract signing. That covers: connecting your shop to the BigArena WMS for the new warehouse, integrating the local couriers, training the local team on your SKUs, inbound shipment and stock receiving.

For urgent clients we can compress the whole process to 2–4 days — by day three or four we are already shipping orders from the new warehouse. We handle the switchover without stopping your current orders: we accept inbound deliveries on non-working days too (for example if stock arrives on Thursday or Friday, the first parcels go out on Monday).

Do you offer temperature-controlled storage?

Only in the Plovdiv warehouse - it has a dedicated temperature-controlled zone for supplements, cosmetics and any products that need thermal control. Regulated at around 10°C.

How is warehouse storage priced?

You pay per cubic metre of stock on hand per day. If you sell 2 cubic metres of stock today, you are not charged for that volume for the day. Packing fees apply only when packing is actually done. In short - you pay only for work performed and space used.
